This involves injecting contrast dye into the veins to visualize abnormalities via X-ray ,considered invasive or CT venogram,considered less invasive.With invasive venography one can assess the insides of the veins with intravascular ultrasound[IVUS],particularly the iliac and other pelvic veins.
c. D-dimer Test
